The two projects previously designated by the Rawlins City Council to be completed using 2019 Wyoming Community Gas funds are expected to begin soon now that the money has arrived.
The community projects were formally designated last year, but the funding wasn’t distributed until last month. Cali O’Hare has more.

The tunnel running beneath the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks at 6th Street in Rawlins will be transformed into the second of two pedestrian art galleries using $3,000 in funding from the 2019 Wyoming Community Gas distribution period. The first tunnel, completed using 2016 Wyoming Community Gas funds, runs beneath the UP tracks at Washington Street and features numerous pieces of artwork done by area residents.
