On the floor of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, Wyoming Senator John Barrasso blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for her part in increasing food prices for working families and doubling the number of illegal immigrants doing time in Cheyenne jails at taxpayer expense.
Barrasso concluded his remarks saying that Vice President Harris is complicit in the U.S. Border disaster that has resulted in perhaps more than 20-million illegal immigrants who have invaded the country since she and Joe Biden took office in the contested 2020 election.
Barrasso pinned the blame for what he described as Venezuelan gangs turning apartment complexes in Aurora into “hell holes” directly on the Biden Administration’s lack of border controls.
Cheyenne, Wyoming is 108 miles from Aurora, a two-hour drive. Since the Biden-Harris Administration took office, Laramie County law enforcement reports that the illegal immigrant population in its jails has more than doubled.
One is a suspected member of the gang, Tren de Aragua (or “TdA”), that took over an apartment complex in Aurora.
According to media reports, American intelligence agencies believe there are over 1,000 TdA members in the United States right now. Since the estimate comes from Biden Administration, the number could be low-balled and may run as high as several thousand members.
Gang members are often identified by visible tattoos. A popular one is anything commemorating Michael Jordan or his jersey number, 23, but clocks, trains, crowns and gas masks are also favored by gang members.
Since Denver labelled itself a “sanctuary city,” leaders and agencies in the “Mile High City” do not cooperate with the law enforcement or U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement when illegal immigrants are involved.
TdA members have been tied to horrific crimes, including the murder of Laken Riley, a nursing student murdered while jogging at the University of Georgia.
