In sports, Wyoming Cowboy fans can say goodbye to Obi Agbim.
The senior point guard will try his chances to get to a bigger stage by entering the NCAA transfer portal. Agbim was granted an extra year of eligibility after starting his career at the junior college level.
After leading the Cowboys in both scoring and assists in the regular season, Agbim was named the Mountain West’s Newcomer of the Year as voted on by head coaches and members of media covering the conference. He also earned Third-Team All-Mountain West honors.
Agbim was Wyoming’s leading scorer this season. A court ruling granted an additional year to all seniors who began their career at the junior college level.
