Spring football camp begins in Laramie today, and another Cowboy is leaving the program.

Cornerback Wrook Brown confirmed Monday that he will enter the transfer portal, the third upperclassman to announce his departure in the last week.

Brown, a fifth defensive back, had one season of eligibility remaining. He joins running back Harrison Waylee and edge rusher Sebastian Harsh to try their luck elsewhere.

Brown is checking out to be closer to his family. An aging grandfather in Salado, Texas is making being closer to his family more important than football.

Brown remains positive about Wyoming football this year, saying his whole life is in Laramie. Brown will receive his college degree from UW this spring, and while he may play football for another team this fall, he has not made any decisions yet.
