In Laramie, Wyoming Cowboy football head coach Jay Sawvel announced this week that cornerback Dainsus Miller has been named to the 2025 roster.
Miller played the last two seasons at Mercer, leading the Bears to a playoff run in the FCS Playoffs last season.
The 5-10, 170-pound defender is a native of Fairburn, GA. Last season, he recorded 23 total tackles and had four interceptions. He also blocked one kick and finished the campaign with seven pass breakups. He recorded six tackles against North Dakota State in the FCS Playoffs, and he also added two pass breakups. He recorded two interceptions.
A graduate of Creekside High School, Miller had 49 tackles as a senior with an interception, two forced fumbles and recoveries along with a dozen pass breakups. He had 46 tackles as a junior with three interceptions. Also excelled in track and field winning a state team title.
