In sports, War Memorial Stadium will be the setting for a big Mountain West rivalry game Saturday night. Wyoming will host Utah State. Both teams are looking to improve on their 1-and-6 seasons.

The Aggies interim head coach, Ned Dreiling, is the youngest head coach in the FBS. At 33, Dreiling is not much older than his players.

Utah State is second in the Mountain West and 10th in the nation in passing offense. The Aggies are putting up 311 yards per game, good enough for third best in the MW and 13th in the nation in total offense.

The Utes have come out on the short end of putting points on the scoreboard. Last week, the Aggies lost a shootout to New Mexico, 50-45. Coach Dreiling put it this way during his news conference this week.

Saturday’s “Bridger’s Battle” matchup will be televised on CBS sports. Bigfoot 99 will be on the air beginning with the pregame show at 3:30. Kickoff is set for 5:00 inside the War. Weather should be outstanding.
