The Wyoming women dominated San Jose State 77-64 with five Cowgirls finishing with double figures. Malene Peterson scored 20, reaching the 1,000 point club.
The Wyoming bench scored 26 points more than double the average.
San Jose State scored the first four points of the game before Wyoming went on a 16-point run and took control of the game.
David Settle had the call as Peterson reached the monumental goal.
Wyoming shot 55-percent overall in the win, hit five 3-pointers and went 6-of-7 at the free-throw line. SJSU shot 44.6-percent and made 7-of-15 from beyond-the-arc.
Head coach Heather Ezell said her team executed well all night, especially in the first half.
The Cowgirls return to Laramie for a Saturday matchup against Boise State. Wyoming is now 12-9 overall, 6-3 in Mountain West play.
