In Reno, Nevada outscored Wyoming 11-to-1 in overtime Wednesday night to clinch a 70-60 win over the Cowgirls.

Wyoming got off to a slow start. Nevada built a 13-point lead in the first quarter. The Cowgirls outscored the Wolfpack 21-to-7 in the second frame, working themselves back into the game. Wyoming trimmed the lead to three. The score at halftime was 30-27.

Wyoming never took the lead in the third quarter and were outscored 15-to-14. The fourth quarter saw three lead changes. Wyoming fought back in the fourth quarter, tying the game with free throws from Malena Petersen.

In overtime, the Cowgirls went 0 for four from the field, allowing the Wolfpack to score the first five points as they snaped a four-game skid against Wyoming.

Nevada ended the night shooting 49.2-percent from the floor while the Cowgirls shot 39-percent and made 8-of-26 from 3-point range.

The Cowgirls return home Saturday with a contest against the reigning regular season Mountain West champion UNLV at 2 p.m.
