Former Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball player Allyson Fertig became the latest recent UW graduate to sign a professional basketball contract.
The 2025 Mountain West Player of the Year signed with BC Pharmaserv of the Bundesliga in Marburg, Germany.
Fertig closed her stellar Wyoming career in March and capped off one of the finest seasons in program history in 2024-25. Fertig became just the third Cowgirl in Mountain West history to be named the player of the year and was just the second Cowgirl in league history to win the conference scoring crown. She also became the first student-athlete in league history to record 500+ points, 300+ rebounds and 50+ blocks in the same season.
Fertig said she landed in Marburg because of the team’s culture and the beauty of the city.
