The Wyoming Cowboys will be in full pads tomorrow for the first time this season as fall camp continues in Laramie.

The Pokes were in half-pads on Friday and Saturday. They’ll be in half-pads again today, as well, as the intensity level begins to ratchet up with opening game less than one month away.

The defensive unit had a strong showing Friday, and won most of Head Coach Craig Bohls praises. Bohl gave high marks to the Cowboy defensive line, saying it is strong. On the offensive side of the ball, Bohl praised the early play of graduate transfer wide receivers Devin Boddie Jr. from Vanderbilt and Ayir Asante from Holy Cross

Bohl said the play of his quarterback was uneven. While praising their aggressiveness, Bohl said his signal callers put the ball in harm’s way.

On the big board, Practice #6 is scheduled for tomorrow on the North 40 field. It will be the first time the offense and defense will be in full pads.
