The Wyoming Cowboys in conjunction with the Mountain West Conference announced on Wednesday the conference slate for the 2025-26 season along with the national television schedule. The Pokes will play seven nationally televised games with four contests at home and three on the road. The schedule also features five Saturday home contests.
Wyoming opens the conference schedule hosting new conference foe Grand Canyon on Saturday, December 20.

Grand Canyon University has officially joined the Mountain West Conference, beginning competition in the 2025-26 academic year, a move accelerated from its original 2026 start date. The Lopes will participate in conference play across 17 sports, including men’s and women’s basketball, starting this fall.

The conference will expand further in 2026 with the addition of the University of Hawai’i (full member), University of California, Davis, University of Texas at El Paso, and Northern Illinois University (football only).

GCU will not field a football program in the Mountain West.

Other Saturday matchups for Wyoming include a contest with San Jose State on January 24 and the Border War on January 31 in a contest on FS1. Wyoming also hosts Utah State on Saturday, February 7 in a game on CBS Sports Network. The final Saturday home contest is against Air Force on February 28.
Other home contests include UNLV on January 6 on CBS Sports Network. Wyoming will host San Diego State on January 14 in the contest also on CBS Sports Network. UW will host Boise State on January 20 and Fresno State on February 17. UW closes out the home schedule with Nevada on March 3.
