The Cowboys were in cruise control Tuesday night, creating baskets all over the place in an impressive 106-79 win over South Dakota.

Wyoming improved to 8-2 on the season. The Coyotes fell to 5-6. The Cowboys rolled on offensive with two players—Naz Mayer and Dennis Damarion with more than 20 points. Three other Wyoming players were in double figures in an all-round solid performance.

The Cowboys shot 63 percent from the floor. From the arc, Wyoming shot 47 percent and picked up 17 of 21 free throw shots. It was a good night as the Cowboys never trailed last night to remain unbeaten at home this season.

Wyoming looked sharp from the start.

As Head Coach Sundance Wicks often does, despite the great performance, Wicks pointed out Wyoming’s mistakes first.

The deconstruction continued as Wicks pointed out the minuses and the plusses.

The head coach was referring to Kiani Saxon who added a game-high nine rebounds with five points and four helpers.

Wyoming hits the road for a neutral site contest at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. against South Dakota State next Monday at 6 p.m.
