  • The Prevention Management Organization will cease operations on July 1st. During a Joint Appropriations Hearing in early December, Department of Health Director Tom Forslund told lawmakers that enough is enough. Forslund, while appearing before the JAC to discuss his agency’s budget said the contract to fund the PMO at the end of the current fiscal year will not be renewed. Instead, a more effective way to deliver drug, alcohol, and suicide prevention services will be sought.
  • Consultants hired by state lawmakers have released four main recommendations on ways to tweak Wyoming’s School Funding Model.
  • The Rawlins Music Academy’s 3rd Annual Music Til Midnight fundraiser promises a little something for everyone. This year’s event boasts music from two local bands, a dance for teens, catered food, and a full bar.
