Wyoming 70 opens after snowy delay

Ten days after the Snowy Range Road opened for the season, the seasonal closure of Wyoming 70 over Battle Pass was finally lifted shortly before noon Monday.

Highway crews began working on the connecting route between Baggs and Encampment in mid-May. More snow since then delayed the opening.
