County gives update on mental health examiner vacancy
Longtime Carbon County Mental Health Examiner Glenn Biggs officially retired last month, but a replacement has yet to be named. County officials are still discussing the future of the position.

SCWEMS to hire full time EMTs
The South Central Wyoming EMS Joint Powers Board plans to hire two full time EMTs to cover ambulance calls Monday through Friday. They will help to ensure coverage when volunteers aren’t able to fill shifts. Emma Diercks has details.
Rawlins Girl Scouts get into spirit of Christmas
Three Girl Scout troops in Rawlins recently came together to start a new Christmas tradition of adopting a family in need. Earlier this month, the girl scouts bought presents for each member of the family. Then on Monday, the girls hosted a large-scale wrapping party to prepare all the gifts for delivery. Water and sewer project bids higher than expected
The Saratoga Town Council and the Saratoga Carbon County Impact Joint Powers Board are brainstorming alternative options for the use of impact assistance funds.
The industrial siting council approved funds for a water and sewer expansion to the Saratoga Lake. However, the engineering bids came in higher than what the town can afford. Emma Diercks has the story.
