High country snowpack has made most of the U.S. Forest Service’s developed campgrounds within Carbon County inaccessible. If the snow melts before May 31st, the public will find the developed campgrounds pots closed due to coronavirus. While state sites open on May 15th, the Forest Service is keeping campgrounds locked up until the end of the month. Emma Diercks has the story.
