A total of 20 bighorn sheep in the Encampment herd now wear GPS tracking collars. Wyoming Game and Fish put collars on 10 more sheep earlier this winter.

Another group, the Douglas Creek herd, is coming to the end of their study. These sheep reside within the Mullen Fire burn scar and have made their way back to the area.

Game and Fish hopes to extend the study to see how the sheep interact with the area. Emma Diercks has the story.
