The newly formed Saratoga Town Council appears dedicated to completing the mission of creating Tyler Pickett Park as memorial to a local soldier killed during combat operations in Iraq in 2008.

This week council created a steering committee consisting of two council members, both military veterans, and the vice commander of the American Legion. Emma Diercks has more.
