State Senator Larry Hicks of Carbon County will be one of the members of a working group that will meet next week to discuss the impacts on Wyoming from challenges along the Colorado River. Governor Mark Gordon announced the September 7th meeting yesterday.

Hicks will join the group as a legislative stakeholder. The eight member panel will also represent municipal, agricultural, environmental and industrial interests from key water sectors in Wyoming, including the Green and Little Snake River Basins. Sen. Hicks, of course, lives in the Little Snake River Valley. The meeting is set for Tuesday at noon in Rock Springs at Western Wyoming Community College.
