The COVID count at the Wyoming State Penitentiary is up two from last week. The Department of Corrections reported seven cases of the virus at the state prison in Rawlins as of yesterday, up from five last week. The number of reportedly infected staff members remains the same at four this week. Three inmates are reported infected up from one in last week’s count. Elsewhere in the state prison system, six cases are reported at the Medium Correctional Institution at Torrington and three at the Women’s Center in Lusk.
