The City of Rawlins and the Town of Sinclair were overwhelmed with donations of bottled water during the catastrophic failure of the municipal distribution system that left the two communities without water for a week earlier this month. Residents did not consume roughly a third of what was donated, so city officials are paying it forward by giving the excess to other entities. Cali O’Hare reports.
