Today is Martin Luther King Day, a holiday for most governmental workers and some businesses. The Wyoming Legislature will be in session today, though. Because of the tight 37-day schedule state lawmakers are under in the general session, the part-time legislature will convene today.

The legislature will recess for a day next Monday, January 23rd. According to the official schedule, the last day for Senate Files to be introduced is Thursday, January 26. The last day for House Bills to be introduced is Tuesday, January 31.

Martin Luther King Day is observed by the federal government on the third Monday of January.
