The weekend promises to be a big one for Wyoming sports fans.
The action gets underway tonight as the curtain comes down on the new look Cowboy basketball team. Four players are back from last year, including guard Brendan Wenzel and forward Caden Powell. Guard Cort Roberson played in four games for the Cowboys.
Guard Sam Griffin averaged 15 points per game at Tulsa. Lithuania native Oleg Kojenets came to Laramie from Nebraska where he played in 18 games last season in the Big 10.
The Cowboys host the Metro State Roadrunners in an exhibition game inside the Arena Auditorium. We’ll be on the air at 6 p.m. tonight with the tip at 6:30. David Settle will have the call tonight.
