Carbon County School District One is asking the public to decide if a new logo should be painted on the floor of the Rawlins High School gym.
Over the coming summer break, Carbon County School District One will resurface the Rawlins High School gymnasium floor. During that time, the current Rawlins Outlaw logo, a solid red bucking horse, will be removed and repainted.
In a social media post, school officials wrote that they’re considering an updated logo that would remain nearly identical to the existing design but include more definition. Instead of a solid red silhouette, the updated version features a black mane, tail, hooves, and other details.
Carbon County School District One has created an online survey to determine which of the two designs should be painted onto the newly resurfaced gymnasium floor. A link to the survey will be included in this story.
