Near 10pm – Fireworks will be launched from the Radio Control Area near the Recreation Center
REMINDER: Fireworks are illegal in the City and all of Carbon County. This includes sparklers. Fireworks display is dependent on fire restrictions. Secure your pets as they are often frightened by the loud noises.
MEDICINE BOW
At 7 pm at Town Park in Medicine Bow, join the American Legion for a BBQ before fireworks.
At dark (around 10pm) the Medicine Bow Fire Department will start the fireworks display.
SARATOGA
7 AM – Pancake Breakfast at Saratoga Fire Hall – Free
7 AM – Platte River Independence Day 5k
10 AM – 3 PM – Car Show Platte Valley Community Center Parking Lot
11 AM – Independence Day Parade and Old Fashioned Bake Auction
1 PM – 3 PM – Free Kids Art Experience
2 PM – Journeys to 250 movie – Free
3 PM – Corn Hole Tournament
5 PM – Ben Garcia & The Cosmic Allstars – music downtown
7 PM – Cruz Contreras & The Black Lillies – music downtown
