Carbon County looking for a new emergency system
The Carbon County Commissioners are exploring options for a new 911 system for the county sheriff’s office. The topic is set to be approved at their meeting next Tuesday. The needed money for the system will come from the county’s Chokecherry Impact Assistance funds. Emma Diercks reports.
Passion and Pride funds to go to splash pad project

After three years since their last public review, the Bureau of Land Management has released a draft Environmental Impact Statment for the proposed expansion of the Lost Creek uranium mine.
