Rawlins marijuana advocate pleads not guilty to felony charges

A Rawlins woman and familiar advocate for legalizing marijuana in Wyoming appeared in Carbon County District Court Monday to plead not guilty to two charges of selling oil-based versions of the drug. Emma Diercks reports.

Rawlins residents pitch in to help clean up cemetery maintenance project

An ongoing tree maintenance project at the Municipal Cemetery in Rawlins has resulted in a big mess making some grave sites hard to access just before Christmas. Cali O’Hare was at the cemetery Monday morning and filed this report.

 

 

Wagonhound interchange and rest area reopen on I-80

Good news for road-weary travelers. The Wagonhound Road interchange, Exit 267, on Interstate 80 has reopened, as has the Wagonhound rest area. The interchange and rest area have been closed since June due to bridge work there. Crews wrapped up the construction in the last few days. The bridge replacement is part of a larger project of rehabbing several bridges along the I-80 corridor between Laramie and Rawlins. The opening of the Wagonhound rest area comes at a good time. The popular rest stop often fills to capacity with travelers who hunker down there during southern Wyoming’s winter storms that frequently force closures of the interstate.

 

Mayor-elect Zeiger shares plans for upcoming term

In less than a month, John Zeiger will again be mayor of Saratoga. Changes are expected, and Zeiger updated Bigfoot 99 on some of his plans.

 

 

Sports: Outlaw basketball team finds balance in first outing

The Rawlins Outlaws won two out of three over the weekend in Buffalo. Joey Saverine caught up with head coach Denver Allard to talk about the season opener and filed this report.
