Carbon Power and Light has announced a scheduled power outage for Tuesday, September 1st. In a media release, the utility company stated that contractors for the Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association will be relocating a piece of electrical distribution equipment at the Trowbridge Substation near Fort Steele.
Carbon Power and Light wrote that the Tri-State contractors asked to perform the relocation during daylight hours for safety. The outage will begin at 6 p.m. on September 1st and last for five to eight hours. It will affect Saratoga, Encampment, and Ryan Park customers.
