In Saratoga, a committee formed from the members of Carbon County Impact Joint Powers Board will interview four of 16 attorneys who expressed interest in reviewing the board’s agreement town.

At the core of the legal work, is whether the contract between the joint powers board and Saratoga allows the town to use fees collected for water and sewer for general fund purposes unrelated to utility service. The board plans to hire one of the legal firms at its June meeting. Emma Diercks has more.
