A “boil water” advisory remains in effect for both Rawlins and Sinclair, although the water storage emergency has eased.

Two big leaks that drained the storage system early Thursday morning have been repaired and the storage tanks are filling, allowing for showers and the flushing of toilets. Don’t drink the water, though. Two consecutive days of testing must be conducted before the boil water advisory is lifted.

Cali O’Hare has been following water crisis story all weekend and reports on the epic work that took place over the weekend to restore the system.
