Student enrollment is down in classrooms across Carbon County School District One. The reason why is still unclear.

Some families may have opted for homeschooling or some kind of virtual platform.

District administrators hope that by amplifying its own virtual option some of those students may begin to attend in person. Emma Diercks has the story.
