The receipts are in, and the ticket subs have been counted. The 2021 Cheyenne Frontier Days set attendance records.

The 10-day rodeo and celebration of all things Western ended Sunday with a final tally of 267,369 rodeo and concert tickets sold.

Sales for the 125th “Daddy of ’Em All” were up 14 percent compared to 2019. The 2020 event was canceled because of coronavirus fears.

Both Saturday rodeos sold out. Two of the night shows sold out, as well. Country superstars Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton played to maxed-out audiences.

Almost 15,000 people attended Sunday’s rodeo finals, where reigning all-around champion Stetson Wright, a saddle bronc and bull rider from Milford, Utah, won again.
