A Rawlins bar may have won the battle over its liquor license renewal, but the war rages on.

The city council tonight will consider a major change to protocols surrounding local liquor licenses, including stepped-up inspections and a two-page alcohol enforcement checklist.

The proposed changes are the result of a dust-up last month between Sunnyside Liquors, its attorney and the city over the renewal of the bar’s liquor license. Cali O’Hare has more.
