The City of Rawlins is presented its request for $2.8 million in COVID-19 relief grant funding to the State Loan and Investment Board this morning.

The city said the money is needed to offset the cost of necessary and unbudgeted expenses associated with various aspects of dealing with this year’s coronavirus outbreak.

Competition for the funds is stiff. More than 200 applications were submitted by other entities. Cali O’Hare reports.
