And as we reported earlier this week, the City of Rawlins is celebrating Arbor Day today and tomorrow. Specially priced trees are available for purchase as Rawlins celebrates its 27 year as a Tree City, USA.

Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tyrell Perry told Bigfoot 99 that 18 different species are available for purchase. Several species of bare-root seedlings are available for free. Rawlins residents are encouraged to attend the Arbor Day festivities, which take place at 1524 Daley Street today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and again tomorrow from 8 a.m. until noon.
