So far this year, 66 people have died on Wyoming highways in crashes that involved alcohol or drug impaired driving. That is not a happy Christmas memory. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is urging motorists to skip driving home if sharing the holidays with family or friends involves partying. Call a cab, call a friend or sleep it off if that’s what it takes. Partying responsibly means hosts should make sure guests leave sober. The patrol also advises motorists to buckle up to protect yourself against impaired drivers who may ignore the above advice and be on the roads over the next two weeks. In other words, don’t become number 67.
