A family dispute led an Encampment man to allegedly use a bulldozer to destroy over $800,000 worth of cars and trucks.

Brian Anderson was arrested on Sunday, March 5th after Carbon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance at the corner of 2nd Street and Barnett Avenue in Encampment. Sheriff Alex Bakken described the event.

Sheriff Bakken said Anderson allegedly used an 80,000 pound Caterpillar D8 Bulldozer to push five of his family’s vehicles into a pile. He said the nature of the argument is unknown and it is undetermined if drugs and alcohol were involved in the incident.

Anderson was released from the Carbon County Jail three days after his arrest.
