Flags are at full staff again today in Wyoming for the first time since September 8th following the pomp and pageantry of the State Funeral for Queen Elizabeth II Monday at West Minster Abbey.

The State Trumpeters sounded Cavalry Last Post in St. George’s Cathedral as the Nation fell silent for an extended period of mourning.

The Queen’s long goodbye that began with a procession through much of Scotland concluded with her interment in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle — the longest-inhabited royal residence in the world — after a long procession from London.

The queen died September 8th at the age of 96 as the longest serving monarch in Britain’s history.

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon yesterday ordered both the United States and Wyoming flags to returned to full at staff at sunset yesterday.
