Officials consider changes after water rate structure workshop

The Saratoga Carbon County Impact Joint Powers Board continues to tweak its proposed water rate changes after testing bills provided by residents at a workshop on Wednesday. The board is still considering at how rates might change seasonally when water usage increases and decreases. Emma Diercks reports.

New coffee shop opening in Rawlins

In an update to a story previously reported by Bigfoot 99, Rawlins Vice Mayor Steve Sanger closed the doors of Huckleberry’s Espresso in February. We can now report that the building won’t stay dark for long.

Local businesswoman, Rose Cain, who also owns Dirty Boyz Sanitation, has purchased the business and plans to re-open under a new brand next month. Cali O’Hare has the story.

Local students participate in agriculture expo

The Carbon County Stock Growers and the Carbon County Extension Office hosted their 26th Agriculture Expo for area 4th graders. Students from Saratoga, Baggs and Rawlins learned about the different careers that make up the world agriculture. Emma Diercks was there and filed this report.
