CCSD2 property up for grabs, but perhaps not for long

In Medicine Bow, a company that proposed using Carbon County School District Two property in the town to house energy workers in a man camp is no longer interested in the land.

Another company, however, would like to store the property to house wind turbine construction equipment slated for a project in the Shirley Basin. Emma Diercks has the story.

 

 

Rawlins City Council leads the charge in applying for impact assistance funds

In addition to benefits, all of the upcoming energy development in the county will have a potential downside, as well. Rawlins City Council authorized a memorandum of understanding with seven other communities in order to apply for impact assistance funds. Cali O’Hare reports.
