A panel of local health professionals put up a unified front Tuesday during a forum to discuss local impacts from the surge in COVID-19 cases across Wyoming.  Even Carbon County Public Health Officer Dr. Wayne Couch was present. Couch made his first public appearance in Rawlins since the initial reported case of the virus here in March.

Much of yesterday’s panel discussion focused on how the virus has impacted both the physical and mental health of hospital employees, and what the public can do to help slow the spread.

The key takeaways — wash your hands, wear a mask and avoid social gatherings. Cali O’Hare has more.
