According to court documents, Melvin Leon Bagley faces two counts of 2nd Degree Attempted Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault along with additional charges of Reckless Endangerment and Reckless Driving.

On Sunday afternoon, September 3, around 12:40 in the afternoon, Wyoming Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies responded to a call about a man with a gun near milepost 22 on US 287.

According to official police documents, the caller told Dispatch that a relative shot her and another family member. The victims fled towards Rawlins, followed by the assailant in a separate vehicle.
