Students at the Medicine Bow Elementary School are hosting a Christmas Extravaganza next week.

On Thursday, December 21st, the Medicine Bow Elementary School is having a Christmas Extravaganza. Principal Jackie Jones said the school’s small class size of nine students necessitated a different approach to a Christmas event.

Principal Jones said the entire community is invited to the school’s Christmas event. Jones said the students will offer a variety of activities, such as free hot chocolate and caroling.

Principal Jones said money raised by the gingerbread house auction will go directly back to the school to help pay for student activities. Jones said the students will have the flexibility to make the gingerbread houses any way they like in an effort to bring in the most amount of money.

Principal Jones said the Christmas Extravaganza is not just a fun activity for the community. Jones said the event is also a way to show off the dedication of the Medicine Bow Elementary School students and staff.

Principal Jones said school staff was asking for donations for the Christmas Extravaganza. Thanks to the generosity of the community, Jones said the only thing needed is food for the potluck lunch.

Jones said the kids have already received a huge amount of community support. The Medicine Bow Elementary School principal said she is confident that next Thursday’s event will be a success.

The Christmas Extravaganza is next Thursday, December 21st at the Medicine Bow Elementary School, located at 204 Sage Street. The event runs from noon to 1:30 pm. Admission is free.
