Hanna Marshal takes down suspect with alternative force

Two days before Thanksgiving, the Hanna Marshal’s Office detained a man who was pointing firearms and assaulting patrons at the Virginian Hotel in Medicine Bow.

The marshal used “less than lethal” weapons to deescalate the threat. Emma Diercks has the story.

Rawlins seeks NRA grant for shooting complex improvements

In Rawlins, officials are hoping to replace the aging floor at the indoor shooting complex with a new one next year. The city is seeking a grant from the NRA to make it happen. Cali O’Hare has more.

Officials discuss Saratoga water protection plan

Christmas parade signups open

In Rawlins: the Chamber of Commerce is taking registrations for the annual Christmas parade, set for Saturday, December 14th.

Businesses, teams, clubs, nonprofit groups, and other local organizations are encouraged to participate.
