Wyoming remembers Wilder

Nearly every Wyoming county was represented during Saturday’s memorial for fallen Wamsutter paramedic Michael Wilder. The service included a lengthy procession, a flag raising by the fire department, an end of watch call, an aerial salute, and bagpipers. Cali O’Hare reports.

Saratoga votes to clean up vehicles

In Saratoga, town council has decided to follow its own advice. Officials have been after residents to clean up their properties. Last week, council voted to clean up an unsecured, town-owned lot that has been used to store abandoned or impounded vehicles. Emma Diercks reports.

New vehicles approved for RFD

The Rawlins Fire Department will acquire two brand new pickup trucks. City Council approved the purchases to replace aging vehicles firefighters have been using for years. Cali O’Hare reports.

CCSD1 moving forward with RHS west end landscaping

The west end of the Rawlins High School will be landscaped at long last. The Carbon County School District One Board of Trustees voted to finish the work after years of discussion. Other maintenance projects will be considered, as well. Emma Diercks has the story.



Sports: Weekend wraps up with plenty of W’s for Carbon County

It was a great weekend for the schools of the county as they won nearly 75 percent of their basketball games and stood out on the wrestling mat and track. Joey Saverine has the recap.
