Saratoga officials reviewing community garden water usage

The Town of Saratoga and the local garden board are working together to determine how much free water should be allotted to the community garden each month. Last summer, the board experienced water leaks that depleted more than 70,000 gallons of the town’s water supply. Emma Diercks has more.

City of Rawlins takes financial hit over golf course restaurant

Last year when the City of Rawlins failed to secure a concessionaire in time to operate the restaurant at Rochell Ranch Municipal Golf Course, officials opted to run the establishment themselves and hired employees to staff the restaurant. Last week, the City Council met to review the numbers which showed the city losing money on the venture. Cali O’Hare reports.

 

 

Hanna Marshal uses grant funds to purchase generator

The Hanna Marshal’s Office received funding from a Homeland Security Grant it applied for in April. With the funds, the law enforcement agency purchased a generator in order to continue operations in the event of a power outage. Emma Diercks has more.
