New bus routes for Rawlins students keep safety in mind

The Carbon County School District One Board of Trustees approved bus routes for children who live in parts of Rawlins that see heavy traffic. State law permits the board to designate those routes to increase safety for the students. Emma Diercks reports.

 

 

New technology allows residents to do county business online

Carbon County residents can now enjoy the convenience of renewing vehicle registration online, as well as paying their property taxes. The County Treasurer’s Office rolled out the new features last week, and more services are slated to come online soon. Cali O’Hare reports.

 

 

Committee reviewing hospital management candidates

A committee formed by the Carbon County Commissioners and the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County Board of Trustees will review the agencies that applied to manage the hospital. On Wednesday, they will decide what two companies to interview for the job. Emma Diercks reports.

 

 

WGFD kicks off annual art contest

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has released the rules for its 36th annual Conservation Stamp art contest. Thousands of dollars in prize money are up for grabs for the artists who best feature one of Wyoming’s native trout species. Cali O’Hare has the details.
