Committee moving forward with hospital funding

The Platte Valley Healthcare Committee will apply for a $22 million loan from the USDA to help build a critical access hospital in Saratoga.

After receiving a financial feasibility report from a third party accounting firm last week, the board feels confident in moving forward their plan. Emma Diercks reports.

RHS officials warn about dangers of vaping

Amid a rash of reported vaping-related lung illnesses nationwide over the last month, officials at Rawlins High School are warning students and parents about the potential dangers of e-cigarettes. Cali O’Hare has the story.

 

 

Hanna man arrested after vandalizing marshal’s vehicle

A Hanna man was arrested last week for allegedly pouring an oil and gas mixture on a U.S. Marshal’s Office vehicle.

Financial exploitation prevention workshop slated for tomorrow

The University of Wyoming Extension Office will host a free workshop in Rawlins tomorrow to help senior citizens identify and prevent financial exploitation.
