The North Platte Valley Medical Center announced Wednesday that a physician assistant with a background in women’s health will begin providing care at the Platte Valley Clinic in early February.

A P.A. for 18 years, Jolena Martin brings with her a wide range of clinical experience in primary care, family practice, obstetrics/gynecology, and urgent care. Martin completed her studies at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and spent six years gaining OB/GYN experience at two medical facilities in Illinois. Martin has spent two years working as a PA at Dr. Carol A. Fischer Family Practice in Cheyenne.

Martin will begin seeing patients in Saratoga at the Platte Valley Clinic on February 6.
