A joke poking fun at a new statewide public health order cracks that “the ‘rona” – or the novel coronavirus – only comes out at night. The gallows humor is the result of an order issued earlier this month in Wyoming requiring bars and restaurants to close between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The closure order poses the latest challenge for local businesses already struggling because of round after round of regulations this year that have put a chokehold on drinking and eating establishments. The new order impacts the financial health of both business owners and employees. Cali O’Hare reports.
